An update from Sil

As mentioned yesterday, I wanted to give you a quick update on the promo CD saga… I have been in contact with MAM many times during today and they have in turn chased the CDs with their distributor (Royal Mail). MAM sent us the following email:

Hi Sil,
I can only apologise further for these taking so long to get to the customers, we cannot understand this ourselves here at MAM as they all left us on time. Sometimes these matters once the items have left us are out of our control.
I have just heard back from Royal Mail, they have assured me that there were no problems at their end with regards to delivery and all CDs should be with the customers by tomorrow, if they have not already been received

Sadly there’s not much more that I can add. I wholeheartedly understand the annoyance that this is causing all the fans waiting for the 3 disc set and the promo CD. It seems that our attempt at delivering you a pre release copy of Giants has been thwarted this time by factors out of our control…

However, there is some good news. We are told that finished copies of the 3 disc set should be ready on Wednesday afternoon at the manufacturers. Al Hale from my office is personally driving to collect from the manufacturers and then delivering them directlty to MAM in order for them to pack & post on Thursday for prompt delivery out to you. More detailed despatch news to follow as soon as we have it…
