Alice Cooper tour completed

The ‘Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back’ tour with Alice Cooper and MC50 came to a climax on Saturday in Cardiff, with both support acts joining Alice onstage for a rendition of the anthem of youth ‘School’s Out’. The tour was a great success, filling out seven arena shows around the UK and Alice didn’t fail to disappoint with his legendary live show! We asked Baz for his thoughts on the gigs:
The tour was great…and we found ourselves really enjoying it. He was an absolute gentleman, his band were sweethearts, and his crew were very cool, which isn’t something you can often say about American road crews…they’re usually insufferable…but they accommodated our boys very well and were a pleasure to be around. They obviously recognised how good our crew are, and rolled with it…
MC50 were great too…Wayne Kramer is a cool guy, I talked a lot with him, and it was also nice to catch up with Kim from Soundgarden and Billy from Faith no More, who were in the band too. We were sceptical about the tour at first to be honest, is it a good match and what will they make of us? But Alice Cooper wanted us on it, it worked out great and was a pleasure to do… the crowds were hugely responsive… it’s strange to play to so many people who’re sitting down, but we got standing ovations every night…we were pleased with that… Job done and friends made…
