Baz announces ‘Convivial’ UK tour for 2026 *new matinees added*
A message from Baz:
I just wanted to thank everyone, once again, for the positive and affectionate feedback on my new book. It really does mean a lot to me, so thanks everyone.
I’d also like to thank the good folk who came along to the Louder than Words book festival in Manchester last month. I was made to feel very welcome, and especially enjoyed the Q&A section that came at the end of the interview…a lovely way to spend an hour and a half, and it absolutely flew by. The host Mark Hart was a great raconteur with insightful questions and it eased things along beautifully…a nice experience.
So much so, it’s inspired these ‘an evening with’ style events across the UK, where I will be playing songs acoustically, telling some stories and answering your questions. I wanted to put together a unique event of entertainment and memories in a relaxed setting, not just ‘a book tour’ and not quite ‘a gig’, hopefully more than the sum of its parts. Who knows how the evening might unfold? One thing is guaranteed…every night on this run will be completely different!
When I was describing the idea to management, and used the word ‘Convivial’ I stopped myself and said ‘that’s a good word, we don’t use that enough anymore, let’s call it that!’
There you have it, my ‘Convivial’ tour kicks off for 12 shows across the UK in February 2026. Tickets on sale Friday 12th Dec, look forward to seeing you all there!
