Black And White tour ends…

Following last night’s gig in a packed Manchester Apollo, the band’s Black And White tour draws to a end… The 18 date run around Scotland, England and Wales saw full venues throughout with the Sold Out signs going up in most of the gigs. In addition to the full, chronological playing of the B&W album, the band chose a varied second part of the set which covered their entire career from Rattus through to Giants. They also shuffled tracks around during the tour and brought different songs in, which kept it fresh,  not only for them, but also for the fans who saw multiple gigs. The full-speed rollercoaster ride around Britain was nearly derailed by Jim & Baz’s viral illness at Folkestone but they soldiered on to the end! On the subject of fans, as always, their inspiring dedication showed no bounds. They traveled in from all over the world, including Europe, Japan & America, to attend gigs whilst many British fans clocked up double figure dates on the tour. One even chose to propose to his partner onstage at Birmingham!  The special guests for the full tour were The Alarm who played storming sets every night to get the crowd fired up. A big thanks to the absolute hero that is Mike Peters and the rest of the band and crew. We wish them well on their own British tour that starts very soon. If you liked what you saw, go along and support them… Thanks to the band, their crew and all those behind the scenes who made this tour such a success and, especially to the fans, without whom… It’s been emotional, Black And White becomes…
