La Folie limited vinyl reissue

The latest album to receive a deluxe vinyl reissue is La Folie. The re-release is limited to 1000 numbered copies and sees the original 11 track LP coupled with a bonus, 12 track album, called La Folie-Extra Texture, the first side of which features stand alone single Strange Little Girl, associated b-sides, a radio edit, a demo and a radio session track. The second side collects six La Folie album tracks recorded live at Hammersmith Odeon in February 1982 by the BBC which are being released on vinyl for the first time.  Both albums are pressed on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl, the original LP on black and the bonus on pink & they are housed in a wide spined sleeve with a re-imagined the front cover design with spot UV. The bonus album’s inner sleeve has also been designed by Phil Johnson with additional live photos. In addition, the double album includes a 10″ x 10″ art print featuring the iconic La Folie heart design which are all hand-signed by the band. Initially, the La Folie vinyl package is only available via the merch stand on the current UK & Irish tour but any copies remaining will be sold via Townsend Music after the tour.

And fear not, although out of the original release sequence, the vinyl reissue of The Gospel According To The Meninblack is planned and it will be following later this year…
