Leigh Bull (Nov.1957-Jan.2014)

It is with great sadness that we heard of the recent passing of Leigh Bull, who was one of the original Finchley Boys. Leigh was an avid music fan, not just of The Stranglers, loved Manchester United and had his own inimitable fashion sense. He was one of the most dedicated and familiar Finchley Boys on tour and was a veteran of many ‘scuffles’ defending both the band ‘s honour and their equipment in the heady days of punk and beyond.

His funeral took place on Saturday in Finchley, North London and JJ was in attendance to pay his respects on behalf of The Stranglers. As a testament to the high esteem that Leigh was held in, friends and family travelled from all over the world to his funeral and there were as many people outside the service as were inside. Leigh is survived by his wife Gina & his two children Jonjo and Tuesday. Our thoughts go out to them, his friends and his Finchley family. Rest in peace Leigh…
