In a change the producer from Aural Sculpture, the band used Mike Kemp behind the controls on Dreamtime. In addition to the existing brass section, they also drafted in extra musicians, like B. J Cole on pedal steel guitar on You’ll Always Reap…, to further augment their sound. The Epic marketing machine came into full force on Dreamtime with a total of four singles taken from the album, each available in multiple formats. The first single chosen was the poppy Nice In Nice, followed by the eco-friendly Always The Sun, both of which became Top 30 hits in the UK. The third single was Big In America and finally Shakin’ Like A Leaf. Gig wise, the album was promoted with a full UK tour through that October and a second one, dubbed Shakin’ Like A Leaf tour, in February/March of 1987 which culminated with a three night run at Hammersmith Odeon.
