We can exclusively reveal the first confirmed gigs in the band’s itinerary for the 2014, their 40th anniversary year. From the end of February and throughout March, the band will undertake a ‘Ruby Anniversary’ tour across the UK consisting of a massive 22 dates.
As has become customary in recent years, the tour kicks off North of the border with a trio of Scottish dates in Inverness, Glasgow and Dunfermline before heading South. The London date sees a return to the Hammersmith Apollo (originally Odeon!) where the band first played back in 1976 and most recently in 2011.
Also, for the first time since Aberystwyth on the 4240 tour, the band are crossing the Severn Bridge for a gig in Wales which takes place at Cardiff University Solus. There are gigs in seldom visited places like Folkestone and Southend as well before the tour culminates at the Manchester Academy.
