Ruby European tour over…

The band played the final date of their hugely successful 16 date Ruby European campaign in Lessines last night, bringing an end to nearly two months of solid touring. Despite the gruelling schedule of travelling and gigging, the band remained in great spirits throughout the tour…

Gijon, Spain 4th April

Drummer Jim Macauley was a powerhouse behind the kit and did Jet proud. He even received a touching display of recognition at Lille as the travelling Brits chanted ‘Jim Mac! Jim Mac!’. As ever the Familyinblack were out in force and, amongst other nationalities, there were travelling Brits at all of the 16 Euro dates…

The setlist saw several changes from the UK tour replacing London Lady with a blistering Toiler On The Sea as the opener and also dropping in Relentless and Grip during the dates. The seldom heard and emotive La Folie was also played in all the gigs in French speaking countries (and once in Germany!).
