Val du Rock festival cancelled

Sadly we have just heard from the band’s management that this weekend’s festival near Paris has been cancelled. Apologies for any inconvenience caused but circumstances are clearly out of our hands. Here’s the statement from the festival organisers:

It is with immense sadness and a very heavy heart that today we must announce the cancellation of the first edition of Val de Rock.

After months of effort and determination for the success of our project, the financial difficulties we are currently facing do not allow us to open the doors of our event on Friday. Despite the search for solutions to maintain Val de Rock over the past few days, the economic difficulties of the festivals and the low sales of our ticket office do not allow the festival to be held.

The heartbreak associated with this announcement is very deep but we would like to thank Val d’Europe Agglomeration for their support and confidence throughout the preparation. We also thank all our partners who followed us on this beautiful project, our providers, all our teams and of course all the magnificent artists who had trusted us to be programmed on one of the stages of Val de Rock.

Our entire team would like to sincerely thank the public and all the festival-goers who took their tickets to attend the concerts and events of Val de Rock this year. We would like to inform you that all seats purchased will be fully refunded. We will give you all the details and the way forward tomorrow.

In the meantime, we are available to answer all your questions on our social networks or on our address here
